Pakistani police freed a boy, aged 13 years, from the hands of a gang kidnapped by using the Facebook site.
Police said the gang members identified the boy by pretending his friendship through the game on the social networking site and then arranged an appointment to meet him and kidnapped him asking for a ransom estimated at half a million dollars.
The kidnapping is a crime common in the Pakistani capital, but the use of social networking sites for the abduction of children is not a common thing.
Local reports said, quoting police that the gang began to communicate with the boy, his father, who is an important position in the customs, almost a month ago.
And killed five members of the gang during the editing process the child, according to police.
According to the French news agency that the police used mobile phone tracking system to reach a place of the boy.
And charged the child's mother appealed to the parents of the need to monitor their children's use of social networking sites.
She said, "Please do not allow information for your children to recognize friends online."
